Purpose The module provides description about: PID controller in closed control circuit; the difference between continuous and discrete description of PID controller; the transcript from continuous to Laplace form; principle of Ziegler-Nichols method for setting PID controller; mathematical foundation of setting PID controllers in Opened and Closed loop; principle of Ziegler-Nichols method application in databases and lastly database application of Ziegler Nichols method, where user can insert his data file from his system and PID parameters are automatically generated and computed in database environment and given to user.
